3. Data collected
Two sources of data. First, the contact form: when you fill it in voluntarily, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message. Submission is handled by a third-party provider (form service, for example Formspree), which forwards your message by email to the publisher. Second, analytics: the site uses Google Analytics, which collects anonymised navigation data (page views, device, referrer) to understand usage.
4. Purpose and legal basis
The form data is used only to handle your request and, where appropriate, reply to you; the legal basis is your consent, obtained on submission. Analytics data is used to improve the site; its basis is also consent (via the cookie banner) or the publisher's legitimate interest, depending on the configuration chosen.
5. Recipients
Your data is intended for the publisher, its form provider and, for analytics, Google. It is neither sold nor transferred for commercial purposes.
6. Retention
Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request. Google Analytics data is kept according to the durations configured in the tool.
7. Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics places analytics cookies on your device. The site also stores a technical preference (the chosen light or dark theme) in your browser's local storage, which does not leave your device. You can refuse or delete cookies at any time via your browser.
8. Your rights
In line with the GDPR (and Swiss data protection law), you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. To exercise them, write to hei@norwaytravel.tips. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
